Growing Wild Petunia from seed:
Wild petunia is easy to germinate from fresh seeds. In San Antonio Seed pods ripen around April-October. They start off green and ripen to a light brown color. Seeds can be removed from the seed pods and planted in our seedling mix. Seeds will germinate in about 5 days.
